Nine locations in Kedah (Pulau Langkawi, Padang Terap, Sik, Baling, Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Pendang, and Kulim) as well as Perlis and Kuala Kangsar, Perak, are among the impacted places in Peninsular Malaysia.

In the meantime, Beaufort, a town in Sabah, is also experiencing higher temperatures. MetMalaysia has issued a warning in reaction to forecasted daily maximum temperatures ranging from 35 to 37 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days.
