Mitsubishi and Partners Form an e-NG Coalition
As a crucial first step toward achieving net-zero carbon emissions, Mitsubishi and its allies established the 'e-NG Coalition' to promote the development of electric natural gas.

Mitsubishi Corp is collaborating with a number of major organizations to develop a new type of gas known as electric natural gas, or e-NG. What's the big deal with e-NG? It's a synthetic gas generated from renewable hydrogen and carbon dioxide, and it has the potential to significantly reduce our carbon emissions.
So, who's in on this environmentally good action? Along with Mitsubishi, TotalEnergies, Tokyo Gas, Engie, Sempra Infrastructure, TES, Osaka Gas, and Toho Gas have joined forces. They name themselves the "e-NG Coalition," and their goal is to establish e-NG as a prominent role in the global energy transition.
The goal is to accelerate the development and production of e-NG in a way that is consistent, inexpensive, and sustainable. And because e-NG can run on current infrastructure, it has the ability to disrupt the energy industry without requiring a completely new set of pipes and cables.
This partnership seeks to quicken the energy transition to a net-zero carbon future with an emphasis on electric natural gas generated from renewable sources. They're well-positioned to make major progress against climate change and create a cleaner, more sustainable world for future generations because to their combined knowledge and resources.
