"Solar Boleh!" The program marks significant progress in reducing carbon emissions. Led by the Agency for Energy Transformation and Water Transformation (Petra), the program aims to democratize access to solar energy by facilitating the installation of solar panels in homes across the country
Through strategic partnerships with AEON Group, Bank Simpanan National and SOLS Energy, Petra ensures a seamless subscription process and additional benefits enjoyed by AEON cardholders. This collaborative effort not only supports the government’s Solar Rakyat Incentive Scheme (SolaRIS) but also advances the broader plan to shift to renewable energy.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusuf highlights the inclusive nature of the scheme, highlighting collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) and TNB to extend solar installation opportunities to residents who emphasize its value.
The project aims to significantly reduce the carbon footprints of the power plant by utilizing rooftop areas and residential communities to generate solar electricity. Fadillah highlights the importance of public-private partnerships in this transformation, and emphasizes the role of households in contributing to a sustainable future.
It is important for individuals to embrace renewable energy solutions such as solar power to achieve zero emissions. "Solar Boleh!" The homes in the scheme not only reduce environmental impact, but also pave the way for a cleaner, greener future. With accessible financing options and streamlined transportation options, now is the time to take action to ensure a zero-carbon future.
